  Planting a tree can absorb a ton of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere over the life of the tree, as well as reducing energy costs with its shade.

Slatt Fellowships

The Vincent P. Slatt Endowment for Undergraduate Research in Energy Systems and Processes supports the research interests of undergraduate students at the University of Notre Dame in the field of energy systems and processes. The following students received research awards in 2008.
